Buleleng, November 22, 2024 – Demonstrating its commitment to the environment, the Community Service Center (PKM) of LPPM Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) organized a “Beach Cleaning” activity at various beach locations in Buleleng Regency, with one of the primary sites being Banjar Village Beach.
Held on Friday, November 22, 2024, the event was attended by the Head and the Secretary of the PKM Center LPPM Undiksha, LPPM Staff, Undiksha students, representatives from the village administration, and members of the Banjar Village community.
During this activity, participants worked together to clean the beach area, collecting plastic and other waste that could potentially harm the marine ecosystem. The primary objective of this initiative was to raise community awareness about the importance of maintaining clean beaches, both as a valuable environmental asset and as a key factor in supporting sustainable tourism.
In addition to the cleanup effort, LPPM Undiksha stakeholders also provided assistance in the form of trash bins and cleaning tools to the Banjar Village administration, further supporting ongoing environmental conservation efforts.
With a strong spirit of collaboration and unity, the “Beach Cleaning” activity was successfully conducted. It is hoped that the partnership between educational institutions and local communities will continue to flourish, fostering a cleaner and more sustainable environment for future generations.
