The Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) hosted a comparative study visit from the Faculty of Law, Social and Political Science (FHISIP) of Universitas Terbuka (UT) on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. The visit aimed to enhance the quality and accreditation of journals within FHISIP UT by exchanging insights with the journal management team at Undiksha’s Journal and Publication Center LPPM. The FHISIP delegation, led by Dr. Siti Aisyah (Chief Editor of JIAFI Journal), was warmly received by the Secretary of LPPM Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Lanang Agung Parwata, S.Pd., M.Kes. The event was also attended by the Head of Undiksha Journal Center, I Nyoman Laba Jayanta, S.Pd., M.Pd., and I Putu Indra Kusuma, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D., as the Secretary of Undiksha Journal Center.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Lanang Agung Parwata expressed gratitude for being chosen as the destination for this important visit.
Representing FHISIP UT, Dr. Siti Aisyah shared her admiration for the achievements of the accredited journals managed by LPPM Undiksha and hoped the visit would foster mutual learning and experience-sharing in journal management.
During the session, I Nyoman Laba Jayanta, provided an overview of Journal Management at Undiksha, along with insights into the various achievements and recognitions obtained by its journals. The collaborative discussion highlighted the importance of maintaining high-quality academic publications to support institutional excellence.
