To improve the scientific writing skills of lectures at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) and support publication in internationally recognized journals, the Center of Journal Development and Publication, LPPM Undiksha, organized a seminar titled “Scientific Article Writing and Utilizing AI to Enhance Writing Quality.” The online event was held on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
The seminar began with participants registration, followed by the opening ceremony, which included singing Indonesian National Anthem and collective prayer. The session than proceeded with a report from the Head of the Organizing Committee and Head of the Journal and Publication Development Center, I Nyoman Laba Jayanta, S.Pd., M.Pd.
The Rector of Undiksha, represented by the Head of LPPM, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.S., delivered a speech and officially opened the event. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of the lecturer’s scientific writing abilities in bolstering Undiksha’s academic growth and international reputation.
This seminar featured twp distinguished keynote speakers:
Prof. Dr. Ir. Dewa Gede Hendra Divayana, S.Kom., M.Kom., IPM, ASEAN.Eng., APEC.Eng., who presented on “Writing Articles for International Publications.”
Robbi Rahim, Ph.D., who discussed “Utilizing AI to Enhance Article Writing Quality.”
The event was moderated by I Gede Wahyu Suwela Antara, M.Pd., who guided the discussions with enthusiasm, fostering active engagement between speakers and participants. The seminar aimed to enhance the capacity of lecturers in crafting high-quality scientific articles and effectively utilizing AI technologies to support the writing process.
Through this initiative, Undiksha hopes to empower its lecturers to produce more impactful scientific works, enabling publication in indexed and reputed international journals. Such efforts are expected to elevate the university’s academic standing on a global scale.
